Ohm/CP at The Baked Potato, and Alva’s in San Pedro!

Tuesday May 28, your favorite twisted band OHM (we hope) will be back at the legendary BAKED POTATO jazz club/restaurant, in beautiful Studio City, California.
Shows: 9:00-ish and 11:00-ish.
Tickets: http://www.thebakedpotato.com/GiftShopPages/GiftShopAdvSalesOHM.html
Saturday June 1, OHM will be at ALVA’S SHOWROOM in beautiful San Pedro,
near the port of Los Angeles. Get further info, like layout or directions, at:  www.alvasshowroom.com
ALVA’S is a cushy-comfy spacious showroom that does not serve alchohol, but you can bring your own. WHAT A DEAL.
Show begins: 8:00pm
We’d like to announce that we’re playing all new songs at these shows,
but we can’t… ’cause we don’t even know yet what songs we’ll be playing.
You’ll just have to come see us and appreciate whatever we play. We know you do.
We can promise, however, to shake your hand, smile, play lots of random notes…
and above all… SWEAT FOR YOUR SINS.  Take some home with you (the sweat, not the sins).
And, if you make a musical request, and we can’t play it, we promise to play something else with some of the same notes in it. FAIR ENOUGH?

Ohm at the Baked Potato, 3-26-13

Come down and hear the new stuff at our home away from home. Bring someone that doesn’t Know… but ought to!

Tickets here!

PS: Heads up! Just got a message from CP: Nik Turner (of Hawkwind fame) will be playing sax the entire second set of the Ohm gig on Tuesday. Our friend Donny Sarian will also be video taping/recording the event, so lots of fun things will be happening. Come down and dig it.

CP/Ohm/Nik Turner (and more) Disc

First, thanks to our friends at Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles for the mentions…

Ohm/CP with Hawkwind disc recorded, and short interview with CP!
Guess the word is out then. We recorded this a couple of weeks ago. Rumored that not only will Nik Tuner be on the disc (Hawkwind), but heard Ray Manzarek, maybe someone from Roxy Music, and others will be on it as well. Sessions went off great, 3 days of recording. The crew played their asses off of course. Looking forward to what Nick and the rest lay down on top of it… thanks to Metal Tim Henderson for the post.
